Sofia Vokalensemble performs J.S. Bach’s Mass in B-minor

H-moll_kvadratWe in Sofia Vokalensemble celebrate 20 years as a choir in 2015, and we will begin our anniversary performing J.S. Bach’s mass in B minor along with orchestra and soloists. The mass in B-minor is seen as one of music history’s most powerful pieces. It took twenty-five years to complete, but was likely never performed during Bach’s lifetime. It’s an outstanding display of Bach’s genius and his different styles as a composer. This is music that is varied, virtuosic and grippingly beautiful!
